Terms of Use
Draft of October 16, 2026
What this is
Contractor Assistant helps you turn your job notes into a clear bid your client can open on their phone. These terms are the rules for using it. By signing in, you agree to them.
The beta is free
Contractor Assistant is in beta, and it's free for now. We may start charging a monthly fee later. If we do, we'll email you at least 14 days before it starts, so you can decide whether to keep going.
Your bids are your responsibility
You decide what goes in each bid and what you charge. The AI writes a first draft. You check it, fix it, and send it.
You're responsible for what your bids say: the work, the prices, the dates, and any promise you make to a client. Contractor Assistant is not a party to your agreement with your client.
Sent bids stay available
When you send a bid, your client gets a link to it. That link keeps working, even if you stop using Contractor Assistant. You can take a bid down by archiving it, or by asking us at the email below.
Please use it the way it's meant to be used
Create bids yourself, for your own jobs. Don't use scripts, bots, or other automated tools to make bids in bulk or to copy bids from other people. Don't try to get into anyone else's account or bids, and don't put in anything illegal.
We may change or end the beta
This is a beta. We may change how Contractor Assistant works, add or remove features, or end the beta. If we end it, we'll email you first when we can. We may also close an account that breaks these terms.
Contractor Assistant is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Check every bid before you send it.
Washington law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. If we change them, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change starts.
