What we collect

Your account: your email address and your name.

Your business: the business name, phone number, and kind of work you tell us about.

Your bids: everything in them, including your clients' names and addresses and the prices you quote. Also the photos of your notes and the messages you type to build a bid.

How the app is used: we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which screens people use.

Who handles it for us

We use other companies to run Contractor Assistant. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job:

Supabase keeps your account, bids, and photos, and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts the app. Anthropic (Claude) reads your messages and writes the first draft of your bids. Google (Gemini) reads the photos of your notes and makes the pictures on your bids. Google also provides Google Analytics and sign-in with Google. Resend sends our emails. When billing starts, Stripe will handle payments.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers. We share it only with the companies above, so the app works, or when the law requires it.

Sent bids can be seen by anyone with the link

When you send a bid, it gets a link. Anyone who has that link can open the bid and see what's in it, including your client's name and address. Share the link only with the people you mean to. You can take a bid down by archiving it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and your bids while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, your bids, and your photos. Our service providers may keep their own backups for a short time after that.

Deleting your information

To delete your account or any of your information, email chris@gobehindtheproduct.com from the address you signed in with. We'll take care of it and write back to confirm.

Changes and questions
